Explanation
Narcissistic personality disorder one of a few kinds of personality disorders is a mental condition wherein individuals have their very own inflated sense of their own importance, a profound need for a lot of attention and appreciation, troubled relationships, and an absence of sympathy for other people. But behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism. Some of the symptoms of this disorder include:

Talk over or cut off others during discussions to communicate their perspectives or talk about themselves. Additionally, they will generally disregard what others say or just give shallow reactions prior to controlling the discussion back to their story.
Obsession with appearance.
They Fear Abandonment.
Need for admiration.
Yes, I think that narcissistic personality disorder is increasing among young people. Basically, young people who are between the age of 18-25years old are among the young people with this personality disorder. This is because a lot of young people are mostly on the social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. On these platforms, there are very many different people, from different, social backgrounds. You find that most young people on these platforms are obsessed with posting pictures of themselves showing off their expensive lifestyles, whereas it is all false about them. In addition, other people are always in new relationships with different partners because they are afraid of being heartbroken. Additionally, others are obsessed with an excessive need for admiration whereby you find different people are trying too hard to please other people whereas that is not really their personality. For instance, you may find a person trying to dress like their friends so that he or she can fit in yet they are not even comfortable in how they are dressed. Basically, there is an increase in narcissistic personality disorder among young people because most of them are really trying so hard to prove something that they are not due to their low self-esteem.
