Another important aspect is “Diction,” which encompasses the choice of words, speech patterns, tone and overall manner in which characters express themselves. Through this they showcase their personalities, social status, composure and vulnerabilities. According to Aristotle this expression of meaning, through words remains consistent whether in verse or prose.
The presence of melody and rhythm referred to as “Music ” plays a role in establishing the mood and flow of the play. It envelops the audience with an atmosphere of sound as Aristotle emphasizes that “Song holds the place among embellishments.” Lastly there is the element of “Spectacle,” which Aristotle considered to have impact compared to aspects. However it can still engage viewers through effects achieved by elaborate set designs costumes, lighting techniques and creating an ambiance that sets a specific mood.
