Edward Yourdon has written many leading articles on systems analysis and design.  His book, Modern Structured Analysis, is also a good resource and recommended text if you would like to learn more. His perception is that three major items are critical to systems development:

Productivity (applications backlog)
Reliability (the enormous amount of time spent on testing and debugging)
Maintainability (21% of systems effort is overall maintenance

Consider these four disciplines as you think about systems development: (a) healthcare, (b)business, (c) government and (d) education
Please write a paper assignment that discusses the following topics:
