Research question: how could electricity market reform with 2-way CfDs change the profitability of renewable generators in your country (in 2021-22)? Please include the following in your report:
1. Context for renewable electricity generation – climate, renewable energy targets, renewable energy resource potential
2. Fuel mix in electricity generation in your country
3. Hourly wholesale electricity prices over 2021-2022
4. Renewable electricity policy – what subsidies existed in that time period? If no subsidies occur, please let us know and we will create an artificial one for your project.
5. Revenues for renewable and fossil fuel generators at market price
6. Revenues with CfD, given subsidy price
7. Evolution of retail prices (find out prices from several companies) over 2022 – is there a link to wholesale prices? Explain.
8. How would electricity market reform proposals (in particular CfDs) change revenues for renewable generators in this country?
