Selection Plan Assignment

Instructions: This assignment is a follow-up of previous assignments and provides an opportunity to integrate the content from Chapter 7 on Employee Selection. You will use information from the textbook and any other relevant resources to create your appraisal.  See attached previous assignments, including Job Description and Performance Appraisal.
You will use the attached document, which includes a template you can use while working on the assignment. See attached “Selection Plan Details.”
 The assignment will contain the following: 
Items to include:

List your Job Position (Behavior Analyst) 
Create a selection battery

Look through your job description and performance appraisal and determine what 3 predictors would best predict overall job performance
List these 3 predictors and describe them in detail

Why would each predict performance in your job?
How will you measure/assess these predictors in your applicants?

Using what you know about predictors, estimate a coefficient of determination (r2) for each of your three predictors

Show this visually (see graphic in template below AND Table 6.5 in your textbook for coefficients (if drawing values from Table 6.5, don’t forget to square that value)

Decide what selection approach to use and describe how it will be used in the context of your selection process (i.e., multiple cutoff or multiple regression)
