Theories & Methods of Offender Treatment Article Analysis

In your written assignment, you will summarize the article, identify strengths/weaknesses, discuss its policy relevance, connect it to course material, and pinpoint unanswered questions/future directions. During class on the day your article analysis is due, you will coordinate with your fellow presenters to give a brief (3-4 minute) summary of your article and your analysis, and lead a class discussion using your discussion questions.  Assignments will be turned in on Canvas and will be due at the start of class on the date it is due (i.e., turned in on Canvas before 9:45am). Late assignments will not be accepted unless you are using your one-time use “late pass.” Article analyses are required to be between 4-5 pages double-spaced, 12pt font, Times New Roman, 1-inch margins. Please proofread your assignments before turning them in.
